For our prestigeous client based in Saudi Arabia, we are looking for a,Automation Engineer.
Description:
- Expertise in Substation Automation: Proven ability in designing, configuring, and implementing substation automation systems, including PLCs (Siemens S7, Allen Bradley, Modicon), SCADA (Zenon, Survalent, Wonderware, WinCC), and HMI solutions, focusing on supervisory control and data acquisition in substations.
- RTU and IED Configuration: Deep knowledge in configuring and maintaining RTUs (D20/200, SEL RTAC, GE D20, GE G500) and IEDs, essential for efficient substation operations. Advanced Skills in Communication Protocols: Proficient in industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850, and IEC 101/104, critical for ensuring robust and reliable substation automation.
- Commissioning and System Integration: Skilled in commissioning and integrating automation systems, including SCADA and HMI, into existing substation infrastructure.
- HMI Development and Implementation: Experienced in developing and implementing intuitive HMI interfaces for effective control and monitoring of substation operations.
- Comprehensive System Testing: Responsible for thorough testing and validation of automation systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Profil :
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in substation automation, with a strong emphasis on PLC, SCADA, RTU, and HMI systems.
- Excellent project management and site coordination skills, with the ability to manage complex automation projects efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities, crucial for addressing technical challenges in substation automation.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, guiding teams to meet project objectives successfully.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written, essential for clear and effective communication.
- Professional and presentable demeanor, suitable for representing the company in various settings.
- Flexibility to travel within Saudi Arabia for various project demands.
- Valid driving license for effective mobility across different project sites.
- Familiarity with regional regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia, with additional certifications in automation systems being advantageous.
