Description de l'entreprise et du poste :
-The Chief Engineer would be in charge of the Engineering department
Summary.
-To build, develop and maintain the Engineering department of the hotel and to drive the necessary activities, to ensure a successful pre- opening and post opening period within the identified parameters benchmarked for The hotel and guidelines or laws applicable in Morocco.
-Ensure completion and alignment to Pre Opening Plan for Engineering department identified for The hotel.
-Understanding to document and implement key steps, processes and relevant information for pre-opening and post opening.
-Create, design SOP's and other documentations to build the necessary structure for a new hotel and ensure alignment to the laws applicable for the country and vision & mission of the hotel.
-Closely work with architects, project team to ensure full understanding of project, plans, layouts.
-Provide necessary advice on plans, layouts, and critical path and escalate as needed to relevant authorities if concerns or opportunities are seen..
-Closely work with the Human Resources Team in identifying and recruiting the team members for the Engineering team within the budget guidelines and aligned to the competencies benchmarked.
-Ensures optimization of material, machinery, tools and budgets available for smooth, effective and efficient operations.
-Maintains a check list of all equipment installed in the hotel and carries out methodically all periodic maintenance.
-Coordinates and prioritizes maintenance activity of rooms and public areas with executive housekeeper.
-Assists the security officer on a regular monthly basis to work out codes of alarm to be used by key personnel in case of emergency (this is in particular reference to fires).
Profil :
-Masters of Engineering.
-Worked in similar role in luxury hotels for minimum of 3 years
